Zane Grey had a strong attachment to Arizona, setting 24 of his 56 western novels
within its borders. He also maintained a cabin retreat Under the Tonto Rim (actual name 'Mogollon Rim')
in central Arizona during the 1920's. The original cabin was a famous tourist attraction until 1990 when it was
destroyed in a fire, but an exact replica of his cabin is on display in Payson, AZ.
